Are students allowed to get exemption for Co-curriculum Credited Course?

The Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre, UPM will make judgments on student eligibility for course exemption based on the rules and regulations issued by the university. For a course exemption application procedures, please refer to the Academic Advisor, Faculty or the Academic Division of UPM.


Finishing School

What is the purpose of Starting School being held?

The Starting School is the first program of soft skills development given to new students of UPM. It was an early preparation for new UPM students to adapt to the environment and way of life on campus.

When and how long students should attend this course?

This course will be held every Saturday and Sunday on the first to the third week of the new session. All new students are required to attend this course successfully for 8 hours starting from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

How can new students register for this course?

The faculty has automatically included a new student name automatically in the course. Any inquiries, please contact the faculty coordinating officer or directly to the Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre.


Finishing School

What is the purpose of Finishing School being held?

The Finishing School is a proactive action taken by the Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre, UPM to prepare UPMs graduates to make them marketable in job market right after graduating. Soft skills enhancement courses are designed based on the image and personality development as well as career enhancement is to be attended by students on their last semester of study.

When and how long students should attend this course?

This career enhancement training to UPMs graduates will be held every Saturday and Sunday in each semester by stages. All UPMs graduates are encourage to attend this course successfully for two days from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm each.

How can students register for this course?

Students have to come to Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre office and key-in the information in the computers provided. Students will be notified by letter the date of registration and posters which will be sent to the residential colleges, facultys deans, U-Spot site, bulletin board, web portal and Facebook page of Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre
